Kramatvam Yoga Immersion with Acharya Bharath Shetty

Hello Älmhult!
Join Acharya Bharath Shetty for a two-day immersive Kramatvam Yoga Workshop in Älmhult. This structured and progressive program offers practitioners the opportunity to deepen their yoga practice through refined alignment, conscious breathing, and steady awareness. Across four guided sessions, participants will explore foundational principles that support stability, strength, and clarity in both body and mind.
Day 1 – Arrival & Grounding (25 April)
The first day introduces the foundations of practice, beginning with breath awareness, mindful movement, and an introduction to traditional yoga principles. Participants will be guided through Hatha Yoga and Surya Namaskar, followed by elements from the Laghutvam practice that emphasise on breathwork and concentration. In the afternoon session, the focus shifts towards technique and precision. Practitioners will be introduced to bandhas and explore a Kramatvam Mysore-style class, where asanas are approached step by step with attention to alignment and technical understanding.
Day 2 – Inner Peace & Expansion (26 April)
The second day deepens the practice with a focus on backbending through Laghutvam techniques and the development of independent practice through Mysore-style sadhana. Participants will also gain a practical introduction to yoga anatomy to better understand how the body functions within the practice. The final session explores mobility and long-term wellbeing through hip-opening sequences and supportive practices designed to maintain a sustainable yoga journey. The workshop concludes with a closing circle and farewell.
This immersion welcomes practitioners who wish to strengthen their practice while cultivating greater awareness, steadiness, and inner balance.
