Hallo Hamburg!
Join us for a two-day immersive workshop with Acharya Bharath Shetty at My Yoga Place. This program offers a balanced exploration of yoga through movement, breath, and deep relaxation, guiding participants toward greater stability, awareness, and inner balance. The workshop is designed to support practitioners in developing a deeper understanding of how breath, body, and mind work together within a consistent yoga practice. Through thoughtful guidance and progressive sessions, participants will experience both the physical and subtle dimensions of yoga, cultivating steadiness, clarity, and a refined sense of awareness.
Day 1 – Practical Foundation & Balance Essentials (17:00 – 21:00)
The first day focuses on building a strong and stable foundation through asana, conscious breathing, and mindful awareness. The session emphasises proper alignment, steady breath, and attentive movement, allowing participants to deepen their understanding of the body while practising safely and effectively. Through carefully guided sequences, practitioners will develop stability, improve body awareness, and cultivate clarity and balance in their practice. This approach helps create a sense of steadiness not only in physical movement but also in the mind. The day concludes with a relaxing sound bath, offering an opportunity to unwind deeply, integrate the experience of practice, and restore the nervous system.
Day 2 – Beyond Asana & Release (12:30 – 16:30)
The second day expands the exploration beyond physical postures, introducing pranayama, kriya, and bandhas—essential elements deeply rooted in the traditional practice of yoga. These techniques help refine the relationship between breath, energy, and awareness, allowing practitioners to experience yoga on a subtler level. As the practice progresses, these elements are integrated into a dynamic segment called Take Flight, where participants may experience a sense of lightness and fluidity in movement. The workshop concludes with a deeply restorative session that includes yoga nidra and supported backbends, helping release accumulated tension and allowing the body and mind to relax, reset, and regenerate.
