Most of us often have no control over our eating habits! We often don’t understand why we eat the way we do, why we feel like binge eating or why we are addicted to certain kinds of foods that clearly don’t work for us! Dr. Anup Krishna, our anatomy teacher, explains our body mechanism and how to treat it right, by eating mindfully, so that it works up to it’s full potential.

SURYA NAMASKARA MARATHON WITH BHARATH JI

This challenge is spiritual as much as physical. Here the intention is to assess yourself, where you stand physically, mentally and emotionally. The fun is in trying to complete 108 Surya Namaskaras in a 90 minute time frame but peacefully, with no force or pressure. The upside is a huge surge of energy when you complete the challenge, which not only boosts your day but increases your confidence immensely.

ABOUT YOGA YATRA

An initiative of the Indea Foundation, Yoga Yatra is an online journey that aims to bring you closer to yourself. Every month, a series of workshops are offered to help you deepen your own practice and push your boundaries. All levels of practitioners, from beginners to intermediate and advanced are welcome and will have much to learn here.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Yoga Yatra is also a weekly sadhana where a group of like-minded individuals come together to inspire and support each other towards their goals. The purpose is to bring alive the IndeaYoga vision of health and bliss for all. We aim to achieve this by focusing on coordination of the body, breath and mind in all our practices.

PART OF A LARGER CAUSE

Being a part of the Indea Foundation Charitable Trust, all proceeds from this ‘e-Yatra’ are donated towards social causes, primarily towards the health and education of underprivileged children. By participating in Yoga Yatra, you contribute towards making the world a slightly better place.
