SURYA NAMASKARA WORKSHOP

SUNDAY, 11th OCT 2020
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
MINIMUM DONATION: Rs. 300/-

For most of us, Surya Namaskaras are a vital part of daily practice. We now have a chance to refine our technique with none other than the master, Bharath Shetty himself. Beginners must join this workshop to understand the right way to perform classical Surya Namaskaras, as well as the immense benefits they can bring. Advanced practitioners will learn what minor mistakes are possible and how to avoid them.

HIP OPENING MASTER CLASS

SATURDAY, 17th OCT 2020
4:00 PM – 5:30 PM
MINIMUM DONATION: Rs. 1500/-

After the hip opening workshop, we now bring you the hip opening masterclass with Bharath Shetty, mentor to yoga practitioners around the globe. Anyone who has been to his class would agree that it is almost a meditative experience. To quote his students “He makes you look deep within yourself. There is an equal amount of wonder when his sequences show you connections between asanas you never thought existed.”

BEGINNER SERIES WORKSHOP

SUNDAY, 25th OCT 2020
11:00 AM – 12:30 PM
MINIMUM DONATION: Rs. 500/-

IndeaYoga teachers Nikhil Uthappa and Prashant Kumar have trained extensively and worked closely with Bharath Shetty for many years. With distinct styles of teaching, they are both well loved by students. They are coming together to conduct this workshop, so expect a wealth of insight into each pose. Learning the Beginner Series, also called the Aarogya series, is a safe way to make sure your alignments are correct. It prepares your body for more complex poses and is tremendously helpful for regaining fitness, as well as maintaining it.

SURYA NAMASKARAS MARATHON

SATURDAY, 31th OCT 2020
7:00 AM – 8:30 AM
MINIMUM DONATION: Rs. 100/-

This challenge is spiritual as much as physical. Here the intention is to assess yourself, where you stand physically, mentally and emotionally. The fun is in trying to complete 108 Surya Namaskaras in a 90 minute time frame but peacefully, with no force or pressure. The upside is a huge surge of energy when you complete the challenge, which not only boosts your day but increases your confidence immensely.

ABOUT YOGA YATRA

An initiative of the Indea Foundation, Yoga Yatra is an online journey that aims to bring you closer to yourself. Every month, a series of workshops are offered to help you deepen your own practice and push your boundaries. All levels of practitioners, from beginners to intermediate and advanced are welcome and will have much to learn here.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Yoga Yatra is also a weekly sadhana where a group of like-minded individuals come together to inspire and support each other towards their goals. The purpose is to bring alive the IndeaYoga vision of health and bliss for all. We aim to achieve this by focusing on coordination of the body, breath and mind in all our practices.

PART OF A LARGER CAUSE

Being a part of the Indea Foundation Charitable Trust, all proceeds from this ‘e-Yatra’ are donated towards social causes, primarily towards the health and education of underprivileged children. By participating in Yoga Yatra, you contribute towards making the world a slightly better place.
