Indea Foundation
A charitable trust !
Established in the year 2012, Indea Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Indea Yoga.
The foundation is committed to providing education and health for underprivileged children, in and around Mysore. A number of children have benefitted from the scholarships for yoga education, with complete financial support for basic education, academics, and clothing provided by the foundation.
The Indea Yoga foundation is actively involved in fundraising events such as Surya Namaskar Marathons, yoga asana workshops for children, and Kriya workshops for the general public.
Felicitation
Felicitation of Mysore COVID-19 Warriors
We celebrated the occasion of Dasara by honoring the Covid Warriors of Mysore, our police force. They have our gratitude for risking their lives, being on the frontlines in the war against Covid and for keeping us safe.
It is important as citizens to stand by and show our respect towards those who have made our lives a little bit easier in these difficult times.
As a token of appreciation for the months of hard work and efforts they put in, Bharat Ji, on behalf of the Indea Foundation, felicitated the officers with gifts and sweets. We thank them and hope they continue with the exemplary work they are doing.
Every small effort makes a big difference during times of strife. Lockdown saw many face acute food shortages, with little or no access to groceries. Through the Indea Foundation, packages of food were distributed in these months to those in need, as a way of doing our bit.

Building a better future
Construction of Lower Primary School
The Indea Foundation also partly funded the construction of a lower primary government school in the village of Tehnkodige, Karnataka. We are delighted to announce that the school is up and running and we could contribute to the enrichment of a lot of little minds.
Indea Foundation remains committed to the cause of helping underprivileged children by providing proper education.
WORKING TOWARDS SUSTAINABILITY
As an of extension of being environmentally conscious, the Indea Foundation also distributes cotton bags to the yoga community in Mysore in order to reduce the usage of plastic carriers and bags.
As a part of Indea Yoga’s 18th-anniversary celebrations, the foundation distributed more than 200 steel water bottles in a move to promote eco-friendly products. It may be noted that plastic water bottles are not only non-biodegradable but also, water stored in them for extended periods of time tends to turn toxic.
